Pawlenty proposes high-tech security for driver's licenses

Gov. Tim Pawlenty wants the state to add facial recognition technology to Minnesota driver’s licenses. The governor yesterday outlined that and other proposals that he says will help prevent identity theft.

His announcement came just one day after Attorney General Mike Hatch criticized the Department of Public Safety for selling driver's license data in bulk to private companies.
