Minnesota is testing ground for auto technology

Maybe you've heard about the new car that will parallel park itself? How about a car that'll alert you to dangers on the road? That's actually occuring here in Minnesota.

There's an eleven-mile stretch of roadway where cars alert commuters about driving dangers. It's part of a project the Ford Motor Company is testing in the state that turns cars into sensors scanning the safety conditions on the road.

Cathy Wurzer spoke with Ron Miller, the technical leader of intelligent vehicle technologies at Ford, about the project.
