Minnesota offers Safe Place for Newborns

Authorities are still looking for the parents of an abandoned baby girl. The baby was discovered on the side of rural road by a farmer yesterday afternoon near St. Augusta, Minn. The baby seems fine and is now with a foster family. While it is unclear who left the baby on the road or why, authorities say the parents may face charges.

For over six years, a Minnesota law has tried to prevent situations like this. Cathy Wurzer talked with Laure Krupp, executive director of Safe Place for Newborns about the state's law.
