Earlier this morning, the last of the night shift workers at the Ford plant in St. Paul packed their things and walked out the door for the last time.

The plant is shutting down for the next couple of weeks, and when it reopens in January, the night shift will be gone, and the plant will operate with about half of its workforce.

We've been periodically checking in with the Dean family, who have worked at St. Paul's Ford plant for three generations. Cathy Wurzer talked with Ed Dean, Jr., the last of his family to work at the plant.
