Xcel Energy asks customers to conserve

We've been shivering through a deep freeze here in the Midwest, and many folks have been staying at home to avoid the chilly weather. But now, Xcel Energy is asking its customers to conserve electricity in order to ease the strain on the power grid. This type of request is unusual for winter months. MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked with Mary Sandok, a spokeswoman for Xcel Energy.
