A scholarly debate on gay marriage
A philosophy professor from Illinois and a law professor from Massachusetts faced off in a civil debate on same-sex marriage recently at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
Arguing in favor of legalizing same-sex marriage was Richard Mohr, a professor of philosophy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mohr has written a number of books on gay rights, most recently, "The Long Arc of Justice: Lesbian and Gay Marriage, Equality and Rights."
