Rebuilding after floods takes money and resolve

Residents in southeastern Minnesota are cleaning up from weekend floods that killed seven people and damaged an estimated 4,000 homes.

Dave Smiglewski knows what it's like to rebuild a damaged town. Smiglewski is the mayor of Granite Falls, which fought two major floods in recent years. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Smiglewski about his city's experiences.
