A new exhibit opening Tuesday at the Minnesota History Center explores the continuing transformation of Lake St. in Minneapolis.

"Right on Lake Street" is a unique collaboration between the History Center, Macalester College and In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer stopped by Monday as the display was being assembled, to take a closer look at the exhibit.

She spoke with Paul Schadewald, Macalester's associate director of civic engagement, and Laura Kling, a Macalester student who spent many hours walking Lake St. in search of its history.
