Adjusting to life back home can be difficult, and for some soldiers, the war can result in mental health issues.
A conference Wednesday in the Twin Cities will help health care professionals identify and treat combat stress.
Dr. Melissa Polusny, a psychologist with the Minneapolis VA Medical Center who specializes in treating post-traumatic stress disorder, is one of the organizers. She spoke with MPR's Cathy Wurzer.
