Ciresi dusts for an endorsement

Mark Scherbing, a custodian at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School and a member of the Service Employees International Union, spends part of his work day Tuesday with DFL Senate candidate Mike Ciresi. It's part of the process of getting the union's endorsement.

Among the other DFL senate candidates seeking the endorsement, Al Franken spent a day with a nursing asssistant last month. And University of St. Thomas professor Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer is planning on participating next month.

Attorney Jim Cohen is another DFLer running in the race.

MPR's Perry Finelli talked with Scherbing about what he expects when he meets Ciresi.
