Retailer Macy's plans to cut around 270 jobs in the Midwest, including about 100 in the Minneapolis region. The company announced its plans after a disappointing holiday season. Macy's has struggled with sales figures ever since it changed many department stores, including some Marshall Field's in the Twin Cities, to the Macy's name.
