Swastikas continue to show up at St. Cloud State

Information on the latest swastika on the St. Cloud State campus is being reported on a University Web site set up to track the racially motivated events.

Campus officials say early Monday morning, a resident assistant in Stearns Hall found a swastika written on an information board outside a student's room. Campus security and St. Cloud police are investigating the incident.

Last week, a swastika was found in the stairwell of another residence hall on campus, at the same time as hundreds of students and faculty were gathered for an afternoon forum on racism.

Campus officials estimate there have been nearly 20 swastikas scrawled in public places on campus since late last year.

St. Cloud State University and a St. Cloud community group are both offering rewards for information on who might be responsible for the graffiti.
