UN issues bird flu warning

Avian influenza is still alive and well. Just ask officials in Indonesia.

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization says efforts to control Indonesia's bird flu outbreaks in poultry are failing. And it warns that "the high level of virus circulation in birds in the country could create conditions for the virus to mutate and to finally cause a human influenza pandemic."
