Armed riot police raided the headquarters of Zimbabwe's main opposition party Friday.
Reports say they detained about 100 people.
After nearly a month, the electoral commission is still withholding the results of Zimbabwe's presidential election. Many observers believe the opposition party unseated or at least forced a run-off with Robert Mugabe, the president of 28 years.
Minnesota Public Radio's "In The Loop" went looking for Minnesotans with a connection to events in Zimbabwe.
They found Munya Munochiveyi. He is finishing up his Ph.D. in history at the University of Minnesota. He's also a member of that opposition party, the Movement for Democratic Change.
In The Loop host Jeff Horwich asked Munochiveyi if he's confident his candidate, Morgan Tsvangirai, won last month's election.
