Many residents of Hugo are putting their lives back together a week after a tornado killed a 2-year-old child, destroyed 50 homes and damaged many others in that community.

People who live in Rogers, just northwest of the metro, survived a tornado in 2006 and know what rebuilding is like. Bob Collins, the author of Minnesota Public Radio's News Cut blog, has been talking with some of those people in Rogers.
