Sunday mornings will sound different from here on out. For the last 17 years, NBC newsman Tim Russert grilled powerful politicians and other newsmakers on the longest running television show in history, "Meet the Press."

Tim Russert died suddenly of a heart attack on Friday in the Washington Bureau of NBC News. He was 58 years old.

Midday remembers Tim Russert with an NBC special tribute and a 2008 commencement speech Russert gave at Randolph-Macon College in Virginia.
