Getting around in the city of Minneapolis could provide challenges for drivers this weekend. Interstate 35W between I-94 and the Crosstown Highway will be closed in both directions for a pavement rehabilitation project.

In addition, a number of parkways will be closed to drivers during the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon on Saturday. And the Basilica Block Party tonight and tomorrow could snarl traffic downtown.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked with Matt Laible of the City of Minneapolis about options for drivers.
