A year later, many still devastated by floods

Nearly a year after flash floods devastated several communities in southeastern Minnesota, many people are still trying to put their lives back together.

Last August, six people were killed when 10 inches of rain washed out roads and swept homes off their foundations.

One of the hardest hit communities was Rushford in Fillmore County.

Minnesota Public Radio's Bob Collins has been checking in with residents of Rushford periodically to see how they are recovering.

Cathy Wurzer talked with Bob after he returned from a recent visit to Rushford.
