Former President Bill Clinton will make a campaign stop in Minnesota later this week.
An official with Barack Obama's Minnesota campaign said the former president will campaign for Obama and DFL U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken in Minneapolis on Thursday evening.
No other details have been made available.
Clinton's appearance is meant to energize DFL activists in the final days of the campaign.
He has been campaigning heavily for Obama in several swing states and is scheduled to campaign this week with Obama in Florida.
Clinton's appearance will come one week after his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., visited the state. She campaigned in Minneapolis and on the Iron Range on behalf of Democrats.
