More cuts at Schwan Food Co.

(AP) - The Schwan Food Co. is cutting more jobs.

The Marshall-based company said Tuesday it has eliminated 52 jobs. It's the second time in four months that the company has announced job cuts.

Schwan says the latest cuts are in Schwans Home Service, Schwan's Consumer Brands North America, Schwan's Food Service, Schwan's Global Supply Chain, Information Services, Schwan University, Corporate Administration and Law, and Human Resources and Finance.

Schwan President and CEO Greg Flack says the company is trying to stay competitive in the frozen food industry during changing economic times.
