Auditor says attorney general's new office doors OK

Legislative Auditor James Nobles says he found no improprieties related to Attorney General Lori Swanson's office remodeling.

Nobles says Swanson followed procedure when she installed heavy-duty doors to her office.

He says she got a private security assessment that recommended bulletproof doors. The doors she installed were also soundproof.

Nobles says Swanson has discretion to soundproof her office because she regularly discusses sensitive and confidential matters.

Nobles spoke to the Legislative Audit Commission during a hearing on Capitol security.
