A Willmar woman who was charged after her infant son fell out of her car while she was driving has entered a guilty plea.
Twenty-two-year-old Elaine Martha Velasquez pleaded guilty to one count of criminal vehicular operation on Tuesday.
The baby suffered a scratch to his forehead but was not seriously injured on May 6 when his unbuckled car seat flew out the door as Velasquez made a turn.
Under the plea agreement, two other counts were dismissed.
According to court testimony, Velasquez had a blood alcohol level of .10 percent when tested about 1½ hours after the incident.
