State Patrol identifies motorcyclist in fatal crash

The Minnesota State Patrol has identified the woman involved in a fatal motorcycle crash in Itasca County Monday evening.

Adrianne Chase, 44, of Keewatin, died from injuries resulting from the collision, which happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 169 and Highway 65, according to police.

Chase was riding a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Highway 169 when she hit the passenger side of a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass.

The car had been traveling northbound and was attempting to make a left turn onto Highway 65, officials said.

The Itasca County Sheriff's Office and the Keewatin and Nashwauk police departments responded to the scene.

The driver of the car, Tiffany Staszcuk, 20, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, suffered no apparent injuries, the State Patrol said.
