Duluth man dies in ATV crash
A 40-year-old Duluth man is dead after an all-terrain vehicle crash in northeastern Minnesota.
The St. Louis County sheriff's office says Martin Edward Kromschroeder was driving a three-wheel ATV in the Whiteface Reservoir area north of Duluth around 8 p.m. Saturday when he went around a curve, lost control and hit a tree.
Kromschroeder died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
Excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. Authorities are still investigating the accident.
