Max Becker is a musician and the producer of the local music Web show Northern Outpost. He's going to be at the 7th Street Entry this Monday to see Sunset Rubdown perform.
He loves the fairy tale lyrics and magical sound of this Montreal-based band. Plus, they put on a heckuva live show.
Christian Erickson is partner in the Minneapolis design agency Zeus Jones, a musician and appreciator of local culture. He'll be getting in touch with his geeky side at the 11th Annual CONvergence at the Sheraton Bloomington Hotel.
This year's convention explores the funny side of fantasy and science fiction and features the cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000 as the guests of honor. But the real attraction for Christian is the passion of the participants.
Danno Klonowski is a cartoonist and member of the International Cartoonist Conspiracy. He loves Alex Kuno's beautifully creepy paintings of children in harrowing situations.
Kuno's current exhibition, Springtime Follies, is on display at the Soo Visual Arts Center until July 26.
