Driver in Minnesota tent accident due in court

Prosecutors say the driver of a van that backed over a tent at a campground in Renville County, killing a infant, had a preliminary blood alcohol level of 0.17 percent - more than twice the legal limit.

The county attorney's office said the 31-year-old woman would appear in court Wednesday to face charges including two counts of criminal vehicular homicide.

Authorities said the victim, 4-month-old Wyatt Sander of Redwood Falls, was in the tent resting with his parents when the van backed over the tent Sunday at about 11 a.m. at the Beaver Falls Campground near Morton. The boy's mother was also injured.

The complaint said the woman drove the van from a parking spot next to the tent to take her 7-year-old daughter to the bathroom, and when she returned she went over the tent.
