Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty heads to Puerto Rico next month for a Republican Governors Association fundraiser.
Pawlenty is listed as a special guest on the invitation for the Aug. 15 event in Guaynabo, near San Juan, hosted by Puerto Rican Gov. Luis Fortuno.
Pawlenty aide Bob Schroeder confirmed the governor's participation.
The price of admission starts at $1,000 for the reception and climbs to $5,000 for a private reception and photo opportunity. Joining the host committee requires a $10,000 contribution.
Pawlenty has traveled to Colorado, Tennessee and Washington, D.C. in the past month.
