Authorities searching for missing 82-year-old
Searchers continue looking for an 82-year-old rural Staples man who missed a family wedding.
Peter Achermann has been missing since Friday. He was supposed to attend the wedding Saturday.
Achermann's car was found Saturday evening stuck in a dirt trail mudhole northeast of Staples. Cass County Sheriff Randy Fisher says there was no sign of Achermann.
Achermann is about 5-foot-9, 175 pounds and generally walks with a cane.

Authorities are continuing an air and ground search. Volunteers and family members also are searching.
