Minnesota man nabbed in Nebraska with mobile pot-growing operation

A traffic stop in southeast Nebraska led to the arrest of a Minnesota man and the seizure of a mobile pot crop.

The Nebraska State Patrol said Thursday that someone reported a car being driven erratically on Interstate 80 Wednesday morning near Grand Island.

A trooper pulled over the car near the Henderson interchange.

A patrol news release says seven big jars containing 18 packages of medicinal marijuana were found during a search.

The patrol also says a rubberized storage bin containing marijuana plants was found in the trunk. It had a fan, thermometer and fluorescent light.

The trooper arrested 56-year-old David Herman of Glenville, Minn., on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, marijuana manufacture and possession.
