Police arrest last suspect in St. Paul shooting

The final suspect in last week's shooting death of a 27-year old St. Paul resident has been arrested this afternoon.

Police had warned earlier today that they believed the suspect was armed and dangerous. He was taken into custody "without incident," according a statement released by the St. Paul Police Department.

The suspect was one of four individuals wanted in connection with the August 14 shooting death of Troy Leonard Crawford.

On Monday, officers with the St. Paul Police Department arrested two St. Paul men in connection with the shooting.

Another suspect turned herself in this morning, police said, and has been booked into the Ramsey County Jail on suspicion of murder.

The shooting occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. August 14 near Case Avenue and Burr Street. St. Paul Fire paramedics responded to a call of shots fired. When authorities arrived, they pronounced Crawford dead at the scene.

Authorities believe the gunshot may have resulted after a dispute or fight between several people, including Crawford, but the nature of the dispute remains unclear.
