Man shot outside private club near U of M
Minneapolis police are investigating a fatal shooting outside a private club near the University of Minnesota.
Police were called to a parking lot near the Profile Center at 27th and University Ave. Thursday night where they found a young man who had been shot. He was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Sgt. Jesse Garcia says some people were trying to get into the private hall, but were turned away and an argument began.
