Lino Lakes woman feared husband might kill her

A Lino Lakes woman killed in a suspected murder-suicide told police she feared her abusive husband might kill her.

Police suspect 51-year-old Allen Taschuk shot 48-year-old Pamela Taschuk, before shooting himself in their home Thursday.

Since 1995, police were called to the home 48 times - 22 domestic-related. Allen Taschuk was arrested three times, the most recent Aug. 26.

On Sept. 10, a court ordered Allen Taschuk have no contact with his wife and later last month Pamela Taschuk filed for divorce.

Investigators suspect Allen Taschuk dropped their 16-year-old son off at a gas station and then shot his wife.

A police report quotes Pamela Taschuk as saying, "I am scared that the next time he gets mad and hits me that it could be the last time."
