Two members of the Obama Administration will be in the Twin Cities Thursday.

Vice President Joe Biden will attend a private fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee in Edina this evening.

The fundraiser will be held at the home of Robert Pohlad, son of the late Minnesota Twins owner Carl Pohlad. The minimum entry fee is a donation of $7,600 per person or $15,200 per couple. Biden has no public events scheduled.

Meanwhile, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood will speak to the Economic Club of Minnesota at noon.

A news release said LaHood will talk about projects created by the economic stimulus and the future transportation bill. He will later tour the St. Paul Union Depot with DFL Congresswoman Betty McCollum.

The Union Depot will serve as a station for the Central Corridor between St. Paul and Minneapolis.
