4-year-old St. Paul boy waits for new heart

A 4-year-old St. Paul boy remains under sedation as he and his family wait for a donated heart.

Connor Tucker was born with a defect that left one side of his heart smaller than normal.

Connor has had three open heart surgeries in his short life and is currently under sedation to strengthen his heart for implantation of a temporary ventricular assist device.

Connor's parents, Mike and Amber Tucker, have exhausted their health insurance.

Friends and family are planning a fundraiser at Casa Vieja in St. Paul on Nov. 7.
