U2 will perform the first rock concert at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium on June 27, 2010.

"To have a band of this caliber be the first large-scale concert in TCF Bank Stadium really is a great opportunity for the University of Minnesota and the entire Twin Cities community," university Athletics Director Joel Maturi said in a press release.

The Irish band will show off it's spaceship-inspired '360' stage design, marked by a 150-foot-high structure fans know as 'the claw'.

A pre-sale for current University of Minnesota-Twin Cities students will begin November 17 at 12:00 p.m. and ends on November 19 at 5:00 p.m., according to a news release from the University of Minnesota.

The limited amount of pre-sale tickets is only available on the internet. Students are limited to two ticket purchases, the release stated.

Tickets for the general public go on sale November 21 at 10 a.m.
