U.S. technology chief to speak at Minn. conference

President Barack Obama's technology chief speaks Wednesday to government information technology professionals in Minnesota.

U.S. Chief Technology Officer Aneesh Chopra is slated to give the keynote speech at the Minnesota Government IT Symposium in St. Paul.

Obama named Chopra to the nation's top technology job in April, with responsibilities that include fostering cybersecurity and reducing health care costs.

The Minnesota conference draws IT professionals including network managers, systems support staff and data processing managers from government and educational institutions.
