Virginia, Minn., police investigate fatal stabbing

Virginia police are seeking another man in connection with a fatal weekend stabbing.

Police have released a Virginia woman, but say she may still be charged.

They are still holding a man on a pending charge of second-degree murder. He is accused of fatally stabbing the 33-year-old Virginia man multiple times and another Virginia man early Saturday morning.

The other man was treated for his injuries and released. The crime apparently happened when two assailants drove up on the victims and assaulted them.

Virginia Police Chief Dana Waldron tells the Duluth News Tribune they also want to talk to a 39-year-old man, but he doesn't know if he will be charged.

He says they don't know a motive or if there is a connection between the suspects and the victims.
