Former scout leader accused of abusing 4th victim

A former Boy Scout leader has now charged with sexually abusing a fourth victim.

Forty-four-year-old Peter Robert Stibal II had already been charged with abusing three boys. The new charge filed Monday in Dakota County District Court brings the total counts up to seven.

A boy told police he was molested at Stibal's cabin in Stearns County when he was 12 or 13, sometime between March 2003 and March 2005.

Stibal had a leader of Troop 650 of Burnsville since 2000. He's been jailed since October in lieu of $1 million bail. Judge Timothy McManus rejected a request for lower bail Monday.

Stibal denies the allegations, saying he only gave the boys back rubs and spent time alone with them. The complaint says he has acknowledged, however, having sexual images of children on his computer.
