Man jailed after shots fired outside Zimmerman bar

A 33-year-old Minneapolis man is in jail after shots were fired outside a bar in Zimmerman.

Sherburne County sheriff's deputies were called early Friday. Witnesses say two shots had been fired outside the bar by a man who had been inside the bar with a handgun in his pocket.

While investigating the shooting, deputies heard a shot fired inside a nearby building. A man matching the suspect's description was arrested.

A handgun, shell casings and bullets were seized. Investigators don't know a motive for the shooting.
