Teen shot to death in St. Paul

Police are investigating the shooting death of a teen at a St. Paul home.

St. Paul Police Sgt. Paul Schnell said officers were called to the 600-block of West Minnehaha Avenue at about 5 p.m. Sunday. They found the young man, who was dead at the scene.

Schnell said the teen's name hasn't yet been released, and police are still trying to determine whether the incident was accidental or a homicide.

"Through the course of the night, investigators have been working on this, interviewing people who were present at the home, and try and determine what exactly the circumstances may have been that lead up to the shooting," Schnell said.

Police were still interviewing witnesses and said they might release additional information later Monday.
