Minn. health commissioner to get H1N1 flu shot

Minnesota's health commissioner is rolling up her sleeve to get a swine flu shot - and is encouraging other Minnesotans to do the same.

Dr. Sanne Magnan is scheduled to be vaccinated against H1N1 influenza Tuesday at the Ramsey County Public Health Center in St. Paul.

While flu outbreaks have declined in Minnesota recently, state health officials say there's the potential for a third wave of illnesses, caused by H1N1 or season influenza viruses.

The event is part of National Influenza Vaccination Week and kicks off Minnesota's monthlong "Ban the Bug" campaign in January.
