Squad car crashes into Minneapolis restaurant

The owner of "Delights of India" was less than delighted with the wake-up call he got early Monday.

B.K. Arora learned that a Minneapolis police squad car had plowed through the front of his restaurant. Police say the squad was responding to a burglary call at an automotive business when it was hit by another vehicle and pushed into the restaurant.

The officer in the squad received minor injuries and was treated at Hennepin County Medical Center. The driver and a passenger in the other car were unhurt.

Arora's insurance company was working on getting the door replaced and the entry shored up in hopes he'll be able to reopen for lunch on Tuesday.

Arora says these things happen, and he's hoping the publicity will prove to be a blessing.
