Former Alaska Gov. and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is coming to Minnesota to campaign for 6th District Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann.
Bachmann's campaign says Palin will visit the state in early April to lend support to Bachmann's re-election effort.
Bachmann's campaign cites Republican Scott Brown's Senate victory Tuesday in Massachusetts as a signal that conservatives will have the momentum going into this fall's elections.
Like Palin, Bachmann has been an outspoken conservative voice who often makes herself available to cable news programs. National Democrats list Bachmann's seat as one of 26 races they are targeting this fall.
Last month people waited for hours to see Palin at a Mall of America book signing appearance.
During that visit to Minnesota Palin also held a fundraiser for a local conservative group called "The Freedom Club."
