Student shot outside dorm released from hospital
The student shot outside a dormitory on the University of Minnesota campus has been released from the hospital.
Timothy Schumacher, 19, tells KSTP-TV he's doing much better following Monday night's shooting.
Police are looking for two male suspects in Schumacher's shooting. They also believe the two robbed three women on campus shortly before approaching Schumacher.
Despite hundreds of surveillance cameras on the Twin Cities campus, police say the shooting was not caught on tape. Investigators found grainy images of two men they believe committed the crimes on some of the videotape.
