U of Minn. president takes leave after surgery
The president of the University of Minnesota is taking a few weeks off after prostate surgery.
The Minnesota Daily reports on Tuesday that President Robert Bruininks' surgery went well on Monday but he'll take a few weeks off to recover.
While he's gone, the president's responsibilities will be taken on by Provost Tom Sullivan or Chief of Staff Kathryn Brown.
