Legislative auditor looks at MN workforce programs

Minnesota's legislative auditor will report on how well the state's workforce programs are doing their work.

The state has 47 such programs to help job seekers, and in the midst of a recession they're more important than ever. The auditor's report will be delivered to a House committee Wednesday.

The audit examined job retention rates, comments from workforce program providers and survey results from job seekers and businesses.
