Teen in critical after Minn. mall stabbing

A 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man are recovering after being stabbed during a fight involving dozens of people at the Rosedale Center mall.

Police say a 17-year-old St. Paul boy who may be responsible for both stabbings was arrested and booked into Ramsey County's Juvenile Detention Center Saturday night.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the fights in the mall forced police and mall security to lock all exterior doors and ask patrons to leave.

It happened about 7:45 p.m. Saturday when Roseville police received a report of about a dozen people fighting. It turns out there were more than that.

Police say the 18-year-old has severe cuts to his face. He's in stable condition. The 16-year-old was in critical condition with stab wounds to his back. He identified his attacker. ---
