Northern Minnesota's Iron Range wants native son Bob Dylan to bring it all back home.
The Iron Range Tourism Bureau has launched an online campaign inviting the 68-year-old Dylan to return to the area where he grew up as Robert Zimmerman and perform a concert.
The bureau has created a Web site - www.comehomebob.com - where fans can sign a petition and share photos and videos.
Tourism bureau executive director Cheyenne Denny says "it's no secret" that Dylan wasn't accepted years ago on the Iron Range. But Denny says "times have changed."
Dylan was born in Duluth but grew up in Hibbing, on the Range.
Larry Jenkins, a publicist for Dylan, says the singer is in Japan on tour and cannot be reached for comment.
