Automotive employee sentenced for embezzlement

A Wisconsin woman has been sentenced to 14 months in prison after pleading guilty to embezzling more than $200,000 from her Minnesota employer.

Eve Marie Kaczorowski, 50, of Buffalo City, Wis., reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors in Minnesota last year. In that agreement, Kaczorowski admitted that between June 2006 and July 2007, she made nearly 400 purchases using the credit card of her employer, TRW Automotive of Winona. Kaczorowski was the company's purchasing agent and was assigned a company credit card.

Prosecutors say Kaczorowski used the card to shop online at Wal-Mart, Best Buy and other retail sites.

She pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud last November. She was sentenced in federal court in Minneapolis Tuesday.
