Police in three metro-area cities are trying to connect the dots a day after a man killed at least two people, and possibly a third, before killing himself.

Authorities believe the man shot two women in a north Minneapolis home, killing one and leaving another woman in serious condition. Then, authorities say he went to Brooklyn Park, where he shot and killed a man.

The woman who died has been identified as 28-year-old Amy Alese Terborg. She died of multiple gunshot wounds. The name of the Brooklyn Park victim hasn't been released.

Inver Grove Heights police are also investigating the fatal shooting of 46-year-old Bryan Andrew Fisher, whose body was found in a home Thursday afternoon. It's not clear when he was killed, but police are trying to determine whether the deaths are linked.

Police have not named the suspect. They say he killed himself during a chase with police in Minneapolis.
